BoricuActivatEd is proud to have played a role in empowering people from coast-to-coast.  Among the most fulfilling partnerships is our working relationship with UCLA’s Early Head Start Program in the San Fernando Valley.  Now entering its third year, this partnership includes three workshops this summer alone.

We are especially proud to have focused on empowering a segment of the population that is often overlooked: young single mothers of modest incomes. We have been able to teach them how to advocate on issues important to them and their children, making a tremendous impact on their lives and the lives of their families.
